In the hospitality industry, gratuity distribution still relies on cumbersome, manual processes that create frustration and inefficiency at every level.


Managers must collect, sort, and reconcile paper tip logs or spreadsheets often leading to errors, delays of several days or weeks, and time-consuming administrative overhead.


Meanwhile, staff face uncertainty and financial stress as they wait for their hard-earned tips to trickle through a slow, opaque system. This outdated approach not only robs employees of timely access to their earnings but also diverts valuable management resources away from guest-facing priorities, highlighting a clear need for a streamlined, digital alternative.

Enable users to make purchases online or in stores, withdraw cash from ATMs, and pay bills. This eliminates the risk and hassle of carrying physical cash or checks.

A unified wallet for on-demand payouts and financial empowerment for the hospitality industry.

Dive into Playlog’s core flows → from the very first welcome screen through to live event creation and see how every tap is optimized to get users sharing memories faster. In under a minute, hosts can name their event, lock down privacy settings, add fun prompts, and generate a shareable link or QR code. With clear visual cues and one-screen setup, Playlog removes friction so users spend less time configuring and more time connecting.

The transaction page brings together an activity log, purchase filters, and a clear account-balance banner so users can see exactly where their money came from and where it went.

The app automates on-demand payouts, depositing gratuities straight into the Today Wallet. Free, unlimited point-of-sale (POS) and online transactions mean you can spend anywhere, shop anywhere, and never wait for your earnings.

Bill Payments

Pay utility, rent, and other bills directly in-app.

Saved payees and one-tap scheduling reduce friction on repeat payments.

Real-time confirmation so users know their bills are handled—no checks, no trips to the bank.

Lets users handle rent, utilities, and other recurring expenses without leaving the app.

E-transfer

Effortless to send funds to any bank account in just a few taps. Whether its splitting a tab with coworkers or covering unexpected costs, instant notifications and status updates keep users informed every step of the way.

Earn rewards

Today App isn’t just a debit card, it’s a way to earn as you spend. The Rewards screen highlights cash-back offers of up to 5% on online purchases and exclusive partner deals. Users can track their rewards balance in real time and cash out directly to their Today Wallet, turning everyday spending into a source of extra income.

This friction not only erodes employee trust and financial stability but also burdens operators with costly administrative overhead. After validating our wireframes and interactions, we translated every flow into polished, production-ready screens complete with final colours, typography, iconography, and subtle motion. What we learned

Today App is on a strong growth trajectory, and the wins we’ve seen so far prove that intuitive, user-centric flows drive real product momentum. We’ll build on these insights adding deeper personalization, richer analytics, and more to evolve the product further.

Speed isn’t enough without trust

Instant payouts delivered the initial “wow,” but confidence only followed once we added clear security cues. Such as the balance card, reassuring copy, and a quick success animation after each deposit.

Designing for unpredictable income

Gratuities arrive in fits and starts one night could be $200, the next $20. This volatility taught us to foreground flexibility in every screen. By embracing unpredictability rather than hiding from it, Today App became a tool that truly fits hospitality workflows.

Incentivizing engagement with rewards

A free cash-back program exclusive to members showed us the power of value added incentives. By partnering with select brands and using magic links plus the Today card, we turned everyday spending into an opportunity to earn. This not only boosted transaction volume but also drove users to return daily.
